This tutorial website is essentially one single tutorial, split into five parts, and including a few extras. It goes through the steps of implementing a given prototype design as WordPress theme. This very site shows the vanilla theme used as basis for the new theme build in the tutorial.

With the aim to demo a standard WordPress installation and its defaults, this site contains minimal content only as published on setup. This means a single page, one post and category and a sample comment. The sidebar features the default example links.
The only edit done to the default setup is the menu – added via admin > appearance > menus.
