Constanza,

I hope that most of these questions were answered in your lesson that day :)

I am not sure what you mean with your tables question, sorry - if you could clarify what exactly you were asking me there - thanks :)

on the topic of table however - this was a very standard way of creating websites in the past. Tables were never intended for this and as you know there are a lot of disadvantages of using tables for the sake of design>
The use of tables should be restricted to tabular data such as calendars, price lists etc...

about the W3C - World Wide Web Consortium
have a look at their site for detailed information: http://www.w3.org/

The general idea is that by using CSS I will work better with my web pages (more control, easy maintenance)
I reviewed the shortcuts. I will use them more often.
tables can be made by using No-Fault CSS?
validation: Why do we need to validate pages?
some info about CSS was addressed to html. Are those the same for Xhtml?
Design Rant: Not sure about that
W3C is mentioned all the time... what is it?

With my homework I will be able to understand things better.

Constanza ;)

well done today - you had a bit of an overload of information and tips for working methods... so you did well to get it all setup and working ;)

Just wanted to leave you a few more notes with those keyboard shortcuts :)

To create / save / open / close files

apple + N => create new file

apple + S => save file

apple + W => close file

apple + O => open file

To work between TacoHTML and Firefox

apple + tab => to switch between applications

apple + H => to hide an open application, ie the program you are using at the time (works for most programs)

To code and preview the page

ALWAYS save first - then PREVIEW - and REFRESH your page

apple + tab => to switch between applications, to preview in Firefox directly
(note: you will need to have opened the file twice for this: once in Taco, and once in Firefox

apple + Y in TACO => to preview using Taco

and lastly - 2 important screenshots I sent you during the lesson via chat:

expanding the view when saving

using taco to check and organise code
