Shadows aren’t black.

Most of us will have been told about avoiding black at school, in art class – and though we might have disagreed at the time, it a solid piece of advice. Cameron Moll pointed to a great article by Ian Storm Taylor today which is definitely worth a read.

And if you are using pure black in your designs at the moment – why not try editing it to more carefully considered shades of grey :)
