When I grow up I want to be a web designer

I'm currently studying MA web design and content planning at the University of Greenwich.

A naturally creative problem-solver, my mission is to communicate effectively by melding traditional craft skills with digital platforms.

I’m committed to producing top-quality design solutions with an attention to detail that will transform your communications.

Background

Born and bred in Bristol, I live near the Mendip Hills in the historic county of Somerset.

I was brought up on football, music and beer. After completing my degree in graphic design I carved a career in London with various creative agencies—before the desktop publishing revolution.
Cow gum, rotrings and typescales were the original tools of my trade.

In 1991 I bought my first Mac and I’ve not been without one since.
Quark XPress, Illustrator and Photoshop became the new tools of my trade.

Soon I was working as a consultant writer, designer and print manager, completing freelance projects in the south of France, the south of Bristol, the centre of Manchester and east London.

I taught myself to use a PC and am currently working in PR and communications for the NHS.
Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Studio and Acrobat Pro are the current tools of my trade.
